Orange Corners Algeria hosts networking event with Minister of Startups and NL Ambassador

Last Thursday, Orange Corners Algeria hosted a dynamic networking event at the headquarter of Orange Corners implementing partner Sylabs. The event was graced by the presence of the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro Enterprises Yacine Oualid and the NL Ambassador to Algeria, Janna van der Velde. The event also brought together the programme’s sponsors and partners such as Unilever and Hivedigit. Their presence served as a powerful testament to their commitment to nurturing Algeria’s entrepreneurial landscape.

The event commenced with a small recap of the six months of the Orange Corners Algeria acceleration programme, before proceeding to a captivating panel featuring the ambassador and minister. Their participation not only lent prestige to the occasion but also provided attendees with a unique platform to engage and gain valuable insights from policy makers through a Q&A session.

This event also provided a valuable platform for members of the programme’s successful inaugural cohort to connect and share experiences with the enthusiastic participants currently undergoing the selection to join the second cohort. The attendees represented a broad spectrum of sectors and businesses and had the opportunity to forge valuable connections that could spark collaborative ideas to propel their ventures forward, proving once more that networking is a big part of being an entrepreneur.
