Orange Corners alum Lyvin wins Lagos TECAthon

In the wake of the success of Natal Cares, another Orange Corners Nigeria alum is making headlines. Earlier this week Lyvin, a startup transforming plastic waste into climate-resilient furniture and building and construction materials, won a prestigious TECAthon in Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos.

During the TECAthon participants were divided into teams to employ the design thinking approach. This method was used to generate innovative solutions to climate-related problems in Nigeria. With Lyvin, CEO Joshua Attat and his team address two critical issues for Nigeria: waste management and climate resilience.

Joshua embodies the Orange Corners spirit: impactful, solution-oriented and forward-thinking. And he’s just one of many Orange Corners Nigeria alumni paving the way for a greener, more resilient Nigeria. We couldn’t be more proud of his achievements, and to call Joshua one of our own.

Many congratulations, Joshua and team!
