Orange Corners Maputo welcomes new partners Van Oord and Vodacom Mozambique

Entrepreneurship and innovation are key drivers of sustainable economic growth as well as creation of decent job opportunities. Van Oord and the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Mozambique started discussions quite some time ago on ways to accelerate positive impact on the local economy. This resulted in a partnership between Orange Corners Maputo and Van Oord.

Through the Orange Corners Programme young entrepreneurs can further develop their skills and get resources to start-up or leverage their businesses. We are a Dutch family-owned company with over 150 years of experience as an international marine contractor. Orange Corners Maputo is an initiative of the Kingdom of The Netherlands that provides young entrepreneurs with training, networks and facilities to start and grow innovative businesses. Through the OCM entrepreneurial programme, we assist today’s Mozambique youth that will become tomorrow’s entrepreneurial leaders, through a different entrepreneurial support includes, that includes an incubation programme which offers recurring 6-month training cycles for 25-35 entrepreneurs at a time.
