Between 29 September and 8 October, the 6th edition of the Salon International de l’Agriculture et des Ressources Animales d’Abidjan (SARA 2023) will take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The Netherlands is this year’s country of honour. A large number of Dutch companies will visit Côte d’Ivoire as part of an economic mission. Orange Corners alumni from our different programmes in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and of course Côte d’Ivoire will also be present as part of a special startup mission.
27 business from the agriculture, horticulture and food sectors will be joining us in Abidjan between 5 and 8 October. Mostly female and under 35 years old, these entrepreneurs are open for business. Some are looking for partners, others for investments or clients. Reach out to them ahead of the SARA or during the mission to talk business!
SARA participant in the spotlight: Yassine Bentaleb – Foodeals
Every day, we throw away food. On an annual basis, an average household anywhere in the world wastes around 70 kilos of food. To combat this issue, Orange Corners Morocco graduate Yassine Bentaleb founded Foodeals. Through this global food waste management system, Yassine transform potential lost revenue into an opportunity for food sellers, while improving purchasing power and expanding the average customer basket.
