Although we already kicked off our activities in Burundi earlier this year, we were still short of an official opening. The graduation of the first Orange Corners Burundi cohort provided the stage for a vibrant launch event in Bujumbura this month. And it was nothing short of inspiring!
The event saw a mix of Burundian and Dutch government officials and private sector partners like Brarudi, Fal Group, Fabrimental, and UNDP come together to celebrate this milestone. Dutch Ambassador Lianne Hoeben delivered a warm address to the crowd. The real stars of the show, however, were the young Orange Corners Burundi entrepreneurs. They proudly received their certificates and showcased their innovative products and services at the bustling market, marking a fantastic start to their entrepreneurial journeys!
