With heavy hearts, we mourn the untimely loss of Md. Mubtasim Rahman, a bright and inspiring person who was not only an exceptional student of Industrial and Production Engineering at the Islamic University of Technology but also a dedicated Campus Coordinator of Orange Corners Bangladesh cohort 2. His contributions to the Orange Corners community and beyond will forever be remembered.
Mubtasim, along with fellow students, was traveling to a picnic spot in Gazipur yesterday when their bus came into contact with a high-voltage power line. This devastating incident claimed the lives of three students on the spot, including Mubtasim, and left others in critical condition. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
