New Partnership between the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Haskè Ventures

In light of the sustainable development framework, the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Senegal is delighted to announce its new partnership with Haske Ventures as implementing partner for the entrepreneurial program “Orange Corners” in Senegal.

Orange Corners (OC) aims to improve job prospects for youth between the ages of 18 and 35, in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. OC is a public-private initiative, active in 14 countries, with 17 hubs and counting. The program strengthens ecosystems for youth entrepreneurship and youth employment. Furthermore, Orange Corners stimulates the entrepreneurial mindset of young people. It offers incubation, acceleration, access to finance, education and training, better policies and business challenges, with strong involvement of the Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and partners from the private sector. Herewith, Orange Corners actively contributes to creating sustainable and inclusive economic growth and decent work for all (SDG8).

“We are pleased to announce this new partnership with Haskè Ventures, who share our goals for youth entrepreneurship. We will offer an amazing program thanks to a dynamic team dedicated to support start-ups for the next two years.” Her Excellency Mme Joan J.J. Wiegman, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Senegal

In Senegal, players in the ecosystem are working together to step into the next chapter of building a startup nation. We are proud to partner with Orange Corners. Our missions perfectly integrate one and another as both of our entities are committed to invest in building the adequate infrastructure for local entrepreneurs to thrive and take on bigger markets.” Mrs Madji Sock, President and Co-founder of Haskè Ventures
