NL Youth Ambassador Jurriaan Middelhoff visits Orange Corners Mozambique & Angola

NL Youth Ambassador Jurriaan Middelhoff is a regular guest at the many Orange Corners hubs across our network. After a recent visit to Iraq, he ventured out to Africa again, where he made exciting stops in Mozambique and Angola to connect with young, innovative minds at Orange Corners.

First up was Maputo, where ambassador Middelhoff dove into the vibrant energy of the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM). Here, 21 proud Orange Corners Mozambique graduates wowed the crowd with their creative products and services. From groundbreaking tech to locally inspired creations, these young entrepreneurs are turning heads and changing the game.

Next, ambassador Middelhoff flew to Luanda, Angola, where he got the chance to meet the ambitious entrepreneurs of Orange Corners Angola. Five startups presented their business plans and products, which included the production of dry fruit and fertiliser to avoid food waste, a sustainably packaged drought-resistant grain, and whiteboard marker refills with ink made of used kitchen oil. Their passion for innovation and growth left a lasting impression, as they shared their journeys and the impact of the Orange Corners programme.

Through his travels, ambassador Middelhoff continues to highlight the power of youth-led innovation across the globe. His latest stops in Mozambique and Angola show just how much potential is bubbling in these hubs!
