Every Graduation Day is special, but some are more special than others. In South Sudan we celebrated the graduation of our very first Orange Corners South Sudan cohort, a milestone in the one-year history of this new programme.
They were congratulated by H.E. Mr. Paul Tholen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to South Sudan, and our Special Guest, Hon. Deborah Akec Kuocnin, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Vice Chancellor of University of Juba, Professor Dr. Robert Mayom, was also present, along with some private partners and donor agencies.
All entrepreneurs in this cohort successfully completed their journey with Orange Corners, gaining the skills, knowledge and networks to take their businesses to new heights. Congratulations to our graduates for their hard work, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. Here’s to new beginnings and greater achievements!

As we bid farewell to cohort 1, we also extend a warm welcome to the entrepreneurs of Orange Corners South Sudan’s Cohort 2. We’re especially proud to share that we’ve nearly doubled our female participation rate, rising from 25% to an impressive 46%. Not only that — the total number of applications has also nearly doubled, a testament to the growing recognition in South Sudan of Orange Corners as a hub for young, ambitious entrepreneurs. The momentum is building, and we couldn’t be more excited!
