Orange Corners Upper Egypt
The Orange Corners Upper Egypt incubation programme aims to support 30+ Egyptian young entrepreneurs per year with a dynamic, state-of-the-art facility, where they get the opportunity to collaborate and work with like-minded individuals in order to start and grow their business. The incubation programme, focusing particularly on entrepreneurs in the agriculture and creative sector, offers training, business development support, masterclasses, events, coaching and mentoring sessions. Through collaboration between the private and public sector, Orange Corners combines forces to contribute towards the economic growth of Egypt and strengthen the Egyptian startup ecosystem.

The criteria for Orange Corners Upper Egypt include:
- Ages 18-35
- Innovative idea in the target sectors (with problem-solving approach)
- Potential of idea to be a business and grow, and its economic viability
- Project at ideation stage (or, in special cases, the startup phase)
- Entrepreneurial characteristics of applicant
- Dedication of applicant to attend the program (minimum 80% attendance)
- Targeting Assiut and supporting surrounding governorates in Upper Egypt.
You can apply through our application form on the website as soon as applications open. Applications for the next cohort are scheduled to be open in July/August 2020.
Outreach Egypt will be providing a space for activities of the incubation programme, as well as a workspace for the entrepreneurs to use with facilities.
The incubation programme includes full-fledged entrepreneurial support from business advice, to trainings, mentorships, coaching, and masterclasses. There are also additional activities such as workshops and network events to inspire Egyptian youth to become entrepreneurs.
For each incubation period (estimated to be +/- 26 weeks), there will be around 12 sessions of entrepreneurial training (once every two weeks) and 6 masterclasses (once a month).

The next incubation cycle of Orange Corners Upper Egypt is scheduled to start in September 2020.
Participation is free of costs. The costs of your participation is covered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands and our private sector partners in Egypt.
